Lee traded to Philadelphia

Cliff Lee and Ben Francisco are heading to Philadelphia in a six-player trade pending physical exams, reports ESPN.com's Jayson Stark.

The Indians acquired Triple-A pitcher Carlos Carrasco, single-A pitcher Jason Knapp, catcher Lou Marson and shortstop Jason Donald in return.

The Phillies were able to hold onto pitcher J.A. Happ, who is having success for the Major League team this season, and Kyle Drabek, who has re-established himself as a top prospect. It was rumored the Blue Jays were looking at both pitchers in return for Roy Halladay.

This is a much better deal for the Phillies, who maintain their top-level prospects in Drabek and outfielders Dominic Brown and Michael Taylor, than the rumored offers involving Halladay.

As for the Halladay sweepstakes, it seems less and less likely that he'll be dealt, which has been argued multiple times on the AHP blog.
