At the top three hitters parks
Citizens Bank Park (Phillies): 3 v. Rockies, 3 v. Marlins
Great American Ballpark (Reds): 3 games v. Pirates, 3 v. Braves
Coors Field (Rockies): No games

At the top three pitchers parks
PETCO park (Padres): 3 v. Nationals
Metrodome (Twins): 3 v. Yankees
AT & T Park (Giants): 3 v. Padres

Ratchet Them Up:
Frank Thomas (Util, A’s):  Has been on a tear - hitting home runs and hitting for average over the past month.  He’s hit 4 home runs in the last four games and could be finding his form.

Doug Davis (SP, D’Backs):  Returned from cancer surgery and won in his first game back.  He went 7 innings allowing just 1 ER and yielding 5 hits.  If you use Davis on your team it’s safe to reactivate him.

Joe Borowski (CL, Indians):  Was reactivated by the Tribe and will make an unlikely return to the closer’s role as no one else on the team seemed capable of taking it away.  Reactivate him if you held onto him.  However don’t rule out a closer by committee approach in Cleveland.

Jack Wilson (SS, Pirates):  Should be reactivated this week but aside from a little bit of pop he doesn’t offer a lot of value.

Solomon Torres (RP, Brewers): Is the closer at the moment in Milwaukee with Eric Gagne having been diagnosed with rotator cuff tendonitis.

Clayton Kershaw (SP, Dodgers):  The Dodgers number 1 pick in the 2005 draft is expected to make his Major League debut on Sunday (today).  He looked great in the Spring, striking out 19 in 14 innings.   It’s a big leap for him as he’s never pitched above AA ball but he’s got huge upside if all works out.

A-Rod (3B, Yankees):  Came back last week - but you knew that.

John Lackey (SP, Angels):  Pitched well is his season debut last week, activate him.

Ratchet Them Down:
Jake Peavy (SP, Padres):  Was placed on the 15 day DL with a strain of the ulner collateral ligament in his elbow.  This could be serious.

Chone Figgins (2B, Angels):  Did come back from the DL but has been used sparingly as there is still pain when running.  This could be a lingering injury.

Chris Young (SP, Padres):  Was placed on the 15 day DL with a broken nose after being drilled by a line drive off the bat of Albert Pujols on Wednesday.

Brad Hawpe (OF, Rockies):  Was placed on the DL with a hamstring injury.

Clint Barmes (2B, Rockies):  Strained the medial collateral ligament in his right knee in a collision with Jose Reyes of the Mets.

Hank Blalock (3B, Rangers):  Was close to being activated when it was discovered he has carpel tunnel syndrome.  He’s likely to be back soon, maybe even this week but don’t expect great things off the bat. He’s coming back as a first baseman.

Andruw Jones (OF, Dodgers):  May be back this week or could head off to get surgery as an MRI discovered torn cartilage in his right knee.  Either way it should sap his already limited value.

Moises Alou (OF, Mets):  Was reactivated from the disabled list, or so it seems.  Once again he’s hurt himself - this time with a strained left calf and has been placed on the 15 day DL.

Max Scherzer (SP/RP, Diamondbacks):  Was, as expected, moved to the bullpen to make room for Doug Davis in the starting rotation.  The fact he hasn’t been sent back to AAA to get regular work makes you suspect the D-Backs see a place for him in the rotation before very long.

Fausto Carmona (SP, Indians):  Was placed on the 15 day DL with a strained left hip.

Jayson Werth (OF, Phillies):  Was placed on the 15 day DL with a strained right oblique muscle.

Marlon Anderson (OF, Mets):  Was placed on the 15 day DL with a strained left hamstring.

Felix Hernandez (SP, Mariners):  Was scratched from a start this weekend due to a sore right calf.  This could be a cause for concern.

Juan Uribe (SS, White Sox):  Was placed on the 15 day DL with a strained left hamstring.  It was a retroactive move which makes him eligible to return for the games next weekend. Ozzie Guillen will probably start Uribe as soon as he is eligible to play again.

Josh Bard (C, Padres):  Was placed on the 15 day DL with a high ankle strain and will miss at least a month.

Victor Martinez (C, Indians):  Hasn’t played since Thursday after injuring his index finger.   There is no word on the severity of the injury.

Eric Gagne (CL, Brewers):  Is out indefinitely with rotator cuff tendinitis, officially he’s on the 15 day DL but it could be a lot longer.

Austin Kearns (OF, Nationals):  Was placed on the 15 day DL with a right elbow injury.  He has undergone surgery to remove debris from the joint and should miss about a month.

Adam Everett (SS, Twins):  Was placed on the 15 day DL and is out indefinitely with pain in his right shoulder.

Ryan Church (OF, Mets):  Is still suffering concussion related symptoms from the collision he had with Braves SS Yunel Escobar.  He may miss significant time this week.

Erick Aybar (SS, Angels):  Was placed on the 15 day DL with a finger injury.
